necks and Alder
Here’s a picture of the necks of the jazzbasses in progress. Right now they are in the spraybooth. The picture is from last week. As you can see the necks still needed frets and the backs weren’t rounded yet. The necks with binding and blockinlays are for the (blue and gold) pearl coloured bodies (see below) and have just recieved their colour for matching headstock.

Last week we selected some nice Alder. We searched through a large pile of logs and handpicked only the best. It may look like an ordinary stack of wood to you, but to us it looks like 50 gorgeous guitars!
