Project Description
Vultura Gunmetal Green
This guitar is übercool, überhot, übereverything.
The body is made from pressed laminated maple veneers. The old way: thin. With only 2 bar braces. This is an acoustically rich guitar, and you’ll hear that character in every note when you play amplified. It’s a guitar with character.
The neck is 2 pc maple with a thin walnut veneer in between. The fingerboard is ziricote, with extraordinary celluloid inlays.
It has Schaller tuners, an ABM roller bridge, a Bigsby, 55090 Jescar frets and 3 TV Jones T-armond pickups. I made my own knobs and switch tip. It has a pre-intonated bone nut.
The controls are as follows. A cluster of 3 knobs (vol, vol, tone) and the 3 way switch work together to engage bridge and neck pickups. The knob at the front is a volume for the mid pickup. You can blend in the mid pickup in any position of the toggle switch to create all kinds of interesting blends.
The sound is big and warm, when played clean and rather raw when using gain.
It plays effortless, it’s hard to put it down. Not my words, it’s what everybody said when I had it with me at the Guitar Summit.
There’s so much to tell about this guitar, but you best check it for yourself. Contact me if you’re interested in this guitar.
