BeBop 70’s version
Exciting news, I am working on a new version of our BeBop model. Basically it’s a 70’s version. That means ash/maple, location bridgepickup, blockinlays, but…there’s more. The intention is to make it the ultimate old school slapbass, for that fat 70’s and 80’s slapsound. The pickguard shape should be self-explanatory 🙂
We are working on the prototype of a custom preamp, in close collaboration with Vanderkley Amps. It’s going to be 2 band boost only. Most important is that it will be a very musical preamp that sounds very natural even at maximum boost. And it has to be low noise. No sorry… not low but NO noise. I have not yet heard ANY preamp that didn’t have background noise even when nothing is boosted. Ours will be better.
And then we won’t restrict it’s finish options, you can get all the cool colors we offer for any model. We hope to be able to introduce it in the fall of 2016. Stay tuned!
