Origin

If you are looking for an exceptional bass, look no further, you have arrived. If you’ve got eye for detail you will feel right at home with this bass. It is handcrafted with carefully selected pieces of wood that stand out in sound, beauty and grain. In the neck two pieces of graphite and a steel dual action trussrod are glued. This enhances the stability of the neck. You will hear this back in the sound. The neck is rounded by hand until it feels exactly right. Not too thick, not too thin, just right.
Eventually after hours of sanding the lacquer finish is applied. Again this is specialised handwork. We want the coating to be as thin as possible but still look fantastic. The bass is totally high end for how precisely it is built but yet doesn't sound thin or hifi.
The passive pickups give it a slightly vintage character. We so love a warm round bass sound with fat and pushing mids, which is sometimes lacking in a high end sound. But it doesn't have to be totally vintage, we want definition in the low frequencies, and a quick response. The best of both worlds in one unique bass, the Origin.
